Logging Activities

Activities are a record of every interaction with a contact — calls, emails, meetings, and notes.

  1. Open a contact’s detail view
  2. In the Activities section, click Log Activity
  3. Fill in:
    • Type — call, email, meeting, or note
    • Title — a short description (e.g., “Follow-up call re: proposal”)
    • Description — detailed notes about what was discussed
    • Date — when it happened (defaults to now)
  4. Click Save
TypeWhen to use
CallPhone conversations
EmailEmail exchanges (also auto-logged when sending from CRM)
MeetingIn-person or video meetings
NoteInternal notes, reminders to self, observations

When you send an email through the CRM (via the email feature), an activity is automatically created on the contact’s record. No manual logging needed.

Activities appear on the contact’s detail page in reverse chronological order — most recent first. Each entry shows the type, title, who logged it, and when.

  • Log activities immediately after interactions while details are fresh
  • Use notes for internal context that doesn’t fit elsewhere (e.g., “Prefers calls over email”)
  • Activities build a complete history of your relationship with each client
