Tags & Custom Fields

Tags are colored labels you can attach to contacts for quick filtering and organization.

  1. Go to Settings > Tags
  2. Enter a tag name
  3. Pick a color
  4. Click Add
  1. Open a contact’s detail view
  2. Click the Tags section
  3. Select tags from the dropdown
  4. Changes save automatically

On the Contacts page, use the tag filter to show only contacts with a specific tag. You can also export contacts filtered by tag.

  • VIP — high-value clients
  • Lead — not yet a customer
  • Partner — business partners
  • Inactive — haven’t engaged recently

Custom fields let you add extra data to contacts beyond the default fields.

  1. Go to Settings > Custom Fields
  2. Click Add Field
  3. Configure:
    • Name — the label shown on forms (e.g., “Industry”)
    • Type — text, number, date, select, or checkbox
    • Required — whether the field must be filled in
    • For select type: add the dropdown options
  4. Click Save

Custom fields appear on both the contact form (when creating/editing) and the contact detail view.
