Audit Log
The audit log records every significant action taken in your CRM — who did it, what changed, and when.
Accessing the audit log
Section titled “Accessing the audit log”Go to Audit Log in the sidebar (admin only).
What’s tracked
Section titled “What’s tracked”Every create, update, and delete action is logged, including:
- Who — the user who made the change
- What — which entity was affected (contact, deal, invoice, etc.)
- Action — create, update, or delete
- When — exact timestamp
- Changes — for updates, the old and new values are recorded
Filtering
Section titled “Filtering”You can filter the audit log by:
- User — see actions by a specific team member
- Entity type — see all changes to contacts, deals, etc.
- Action — filter by create, update, or delete
- Date range — narrow to a specific time period
Use cases
Section titled “Use cases”- Investigate issues — “Who changed this deal’s value?”
- Compliance — prove who accessed or modified data
- Onboarding — see how new team members are using the CRM
- Security — detect unusual activity (bulk deletes, after-hours changes)
