Email & SMTP

To send invoices, notifications, and emails directly from the CRM, you need to set up SMTP.

  1. Go to Settings > Email
  2. Fill in your SMTP details:
    • SMTP Host — your email provider’s SMTP server (e.g., smtp.gmail.com)
    • SMTP Port — usually 587 (TLS) or 465 (SSL)
    • Username — your email address or SMTP username
    • Password — your email password or app-specific password
    • From address — the “from” address on outgoing emails
  3. Click Save Changes

A green “Configured” badge appears when SMTP is set up correctly.

Once configured, the CRM can:

  • Send invoices directly to clients
  • Send email notifications (task assigned, invoice overdue, etc.)
  • Send client portal magic link emails
  • Send reminder nudges
