Email & SMTP
To send invoices, notifications, and emails directly from the CRM, you need to set up SMTP.
Configuring SMTP
Section titled “Configuring SMTP”- Go to Settings > Email
- Fill in your SMTP details:
- SMTP Host — your email provider’s SMTP server (e.g.,
smtp.gmail.com) - SMTP Port — usually 587 (TLS) or 465 (SSL)
- Username — your email address or SMTP username
- Password — your email password or app-specific password
- From address — the “from” address on outgoing emails
- SMTP Host — your email provider’s SMTP server (e.g.,
- Click Save Changes
A green “Configured” badge appears when SMTP is set up correctly.

What uses email?
Section titled “What uses email?”Once configured, the CRM can:
- Send invoices directly to clients
- Send email notifications (task assigned, invoice overdue, etc.)
- Send client portal magic link emails
- Send reminder nudges
