Tasks
Tasks help you stay on top of follow-ups, action items, and internal to-dos.
Creating a task
Section titled “Creating a task”- Go to Tasks in the sidebar
- Click New Task
- Fill in:
- Title (required)
- Description — what needs to be done
- Due date — when it’s due
- Priority — low, medium, high, or urgent
- Status — to do, in progress, or done
- Contact — optionally link to a contact
- Deal — optionally link to a deal
- Assigned to — who should do it
- Click Save
Task statuses
Section titled “Task statuses”| Status | Meaning |

| To Do | Not started |
| In Progress | Being worked on |
| Done | Completed |
Task priorities
Section titled “Task priorities”| Priority | When to use |
|---|---|
| Low | Nice-to-have, no deadline pressure |
| Medium | Should be done, but not urgent |
| High | Important, needs attention soon |
| Urgent | Do it now |
Filtering tasks
Section titled “Filtering tasks”Use the filters at the top of the Tasks page to narrow down by:
- Status
- Priority
- Contact
- Deal
- Assigned user
Linking tasks
Section titled “Linking tasks”Tasks become more powerful when linked to contacts and deals. This lets you:
- See all tasks for a specific client on their contact page
- Track action items related to a specific deal
- Assign work to team members with clear context
- Create a task after every client meeting for follow-up actions
- Use “Assigned to” when working in a team so everyone knows their responsibilities
- Review open tasks daily — the Dashboard shows your upcoming tasks
